Missions Are Way Worth It!

Dear Family & Friends,

First of all, to answer your question Jenny: The Chinese food was sweet, but I have not finished it all. It takes me a long time because I love to keep it for special occasions! Other times I just eat it if its candy! Send more pictures--more pictures please! I love everything you send--especially little things for missionaries like that book and other stuff. It’s just fun to get packages and see them at the end of my bed each morning when I wake up because it reminds me of you all.

Anyway this last week the power was out and it was pretty sad! We did not get our zone goal but we did exceed our district goal. We are some how not doing so good. So the stress right now is very high. This week for p-day we came over to Elder Rohmans and Elder Molobi’s area to talk about it small. Then we went to the Internet cafe in their area so it’s very good. We have just been hanging here for most of the day. I washed tons of clothes this week and it was not easy at all.

Please, also, if Josh knows anything on how to help someone to stop smoking I would love to know because we need some help with that now. Well, thank you for the emails—I am sorry that I did not get to email you last week!

This week we have found some really great people and we are just going to try to get them to church this Sunday and try very hard to teach with the spirit. I have some small things that I am going to work on that I hope will help my investigators. It will be great to have like 5 investigators at church! I know this week we can do it and we will!

The emails were great once again. I love to know what’s going on at home since we don’t really get to talk now. I have lost a lot of my memory from home--I don’t know why--I hope it’s because I am becoming more focused on the work. It’s really not easy out here, but I will tell you what---it’s way worth it! The things I have come to know are great---I would not ever have known these things without my mission. Now when I tell someone that this church is the only church restored to the earth and that Jesus is The Christ I know what I am saying and I know that it’s true!

I love you tons and tons, but soon enough I will be back there with you and it will be a great day. Then once again because of the gospel we will be together forever that’s what it’s all about.

I love you thanks for everything,
Elder Jeremy Reid
