Okay, I got all the packages--the two for Christmas and the brown box. They were nice. I even planted my plants and they have started to grow so that’s pretty cool. I got the Christmas tree out and I think the roaches have made a home in it!
We had 4 people come to church-that was awesome! Two of them were referrals and we had never seen them before! So it was a very good week because of that. We also had our baptism on Saturday. Then on Tuesday one girl told us she wants to be baptized so we are baptizing her on Saturday. Now her little brother will be in some weeks we hope. So it has been a good time.
Oh ya, I don’t think I am being transferred because I did not get a call from President. I will probably call you one day before to set a time that I can call on Christmas. It will either be after the party or before it; I am not sure which yet. So you will know on Thursday if I was transferred some place or I am just going to stay in Nungua. We are at least finding some people to baptize.
We have been very busy trying to get people to church. The two people that just came with members are very excited to learn. One of them, after the class about baptism, came up to us and said---I would like to book an appointment with you! That has never happened before!
Oh ya, Elder Riding went back home one day after the Christmas party, that was pretty crazy. They did not want to keep him here for another Christmas; it would have been his 3rd Christmas on his mission. So that was pretty cool. He got to train his last transfer--I hope the same thing happens to me. We had some fun times when we were together pounding fu fu--but still we tried--that’s all that mattered. Really I can’t remember a lot of things from that time.
Well, the Christmas party was fun; we did not go out all day. We ate some food, and had some shows and talents--so it was pretty cool. Then I got my 3 Christmas packages and my letter so I was very good! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I have not been working out with all the things we have been busy with. I have not been able to keep track of the days I am suppose to work out and the days I am not, so I just stopped for some time. I will start again right after we finish the Christmas parties!
I have only heard some small music for Christmas--there is no one who puts up lights or anything. No Christmas trees or fun choirs, nothing at all. Anyway that’s just a little about Christmas here.
I love you all tons it will be good to talk to you on Christmas. I hope you have a fun week and don’t have to work too hard. Celebrate extra hard for me so I can feel it! I miss you all, but no worries!
