Transfers Are This Week!

If you look close this is a snake who ate a lizard, then the lizard woke up and clawed the snake until it ripped open!

Dear Family & Friends,

Well, first of all transfers are this week and that is pretty exciting. I think I will be happy with whatever happens this time. We have lots of cool people here to baptize so I want to stay, but I also want to go. These last few weeks have been very stressful. It’s not really been easy. I am still going strong though. I guess this time of my mission is more like a real fight against Satan. He really is trying in this mission to pull us all down. My mind, body, spirit, everything is tired, but I know something--every time this has ever happened something amazing comes out of it. Usually even miraculous, if I might say. Well, I just hope some more miracles happen. It would be a really nice thing.

Well today we are very late to the café. We went to Accra, again. Elder Jorgenson is with us today because Elder Fedderson is gone. They wanted to get some stuff there. I did not buy anything because I already have stuff. The only thing I needed was bungee cords and we could not find any. We did not really look for them because I wanted to get home so we could go out. We were just going to go to the Makola Market and then come home again, but instead we went to eat--which took too long--then to the market and now we are just coming home. I finished all my washing today so that was good.

Well, some small info---Elder Ewudzie is going to train a new missionary for the second time now. So are lots of other people in our Zone so I am happy about that because that always makes you work harder. That means more of our goals will be achieved. We will be setting our goals on a monthly basis not 6 weeks anymore, so that will be really cool. I think that means you will have to work a lot harder to get more people in a shorter time. It will really help missionaries.

So we baptized this week, Adwoa, Beatrice and Deborah. It was pretty cool. We got to stand in for the confirmations, that was nice. At church, we had a mother and her twins, they are really cute and really nice. They have baptismal dates so it's way awesome. Then the mother of the 2 kids we baptized came to church, that was really nice too. The guy we have been teaching for some time (who came to church once) but did not come last week, came this week and we gave him a date. Also, the man and his daughter who just came to church on their own accord--we taught them this week and they came again. They are really good too. All the people we are working with are really awesome! This week we are working to get 5 more new people to church because there are some really cool people that did not come last week and we know we can get them to come this week.

Going with the Brown's will be nice--so that sounds like a good plan. Well, I think I am going to close here. Sorry it is not too long----I will make it longer next week--maybe in a new area--ha ha. Love you all tons! I’m starting to miss all of you too much. It's all good--no worries!

Love, Elder Jeremy Reid

This is the complete meal from Lucy--it was awesome!
