Life in Africa!

Roadway in Kasoa

Dear Family,

We ride bikes everywhere! Lots and lots of bike riding. When we have to go into Accra to a meeting or something, we ride in Tro-Tros---they are bus/van things that have like a thousand people in them! Not quite---but, they are packed full of people! Sometimes while your riding in them people stand up in the front and preach and also sell stuff---it's funny!

We have six Elders in our tiny apartment. I am getting the lessons down pretty well---it is pretty fun to teach. The power goes out and it gets really hot. The fans can't work without power---and then the water can't pump, either! Then we have bucked baths! I love it---we are on a 2 year camp-out! Juice and milk and obruni (white man) food is very expensive, so we don't buy that because we don't have much money--so we are careful.

Love you all tons! Tell all the family thanks for the letters--I love getting letters!

Elder Jeremy Reid
